Founded in 1887 by formerly enslaved people of African descent, New Bethel Baptist Church continues to shine as a beacon, reflecting the Grace, Mercy, and Power of God manifested through Jesus Christ.

At New Bethel, we share a Social-Justice Gospel—centered on liberation, salvation, love, and hope—while celebrating both the dignity of all and our African-American cultural heritage.
